Hello
Has anyone had experience of the requirements for water tight bulkheads and how services from bilge pumps, domestic hot and cold water, fuels and electrical systems are run through these steel partitions?
I have been told that I will have to run stainless steel tube through the bulkheads (steel boat) so meaning multiple long runs of stainless pipe for both bilge and fuel which I can understand but can a plastic pipe be used for the internal water supply as long as it’s high in the Bulkhead?
Lastly is stainless the best option for the pipework.
Some pics of the boat can be seen in my profile which shows the empty internal boat.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
