Why on earth am I getting an advert pop up on my iPad screen in between threads?
surely YBW are not that poor are they?

Imho it's much better. And they don't appear in the threads. Easy to ignore just one ad in the header page.

Me too. I suddenly got a massive pop up ad this morning which blotted out the whole page but it hasn't reappeared since. And the ad in the thread list is doing my head in

Anyone looked on Pistonheads recently?
Not sure if it's the same publishers but it's way over the top and slows down the loading of the site and above all is very irritating. Doesn't give you warm positive feeling more of a 'why bother' with this crap being forced upon us.
I understand the financial return but hopefully this site won't follow the same model.

1st rule of marketing, if you are trying to sell something to someone then don't p$ss them off 1st.
