ADVENTURE.

If there was a prize for the slowest 50 footer in the race, I guess a Trader 50 would be in with a good shout. How is a tub which maxes out at about 17kts going to complete some of the legs on the same day as the other competitors? Seems like a great way to get some gullible crew to pay to get your boat to the Med though

There's no mention of it competing, just a part of the rally and following the race.

But yes, a good way of financing your own trip:)

following the race.
How does that work then? The only time anybody on the Trader would see the other raceboats would be when they fecked off into the distance from the start line every day and by the time the Trader finally plodded into port at the end of each leg, all the beer and sandwiches would have long gone.:D

Ok, you have me there, I surrender:D:D

ok

Just met up with the guy, he is looking for sponsorship to help cover costs, the Trader is slow but there is a 2 day rest between race legs, so yes some long days but entry into back stage so to speak and the race publicity stuff and functions.
It a guy who wants to do it and is trying to make it happen.

So think what you like!
It is open to any boat that wish to do the cruise rally.
I am and will continue to talk to him, if you want updates on what is developing and how, I will see what I can do.
