Advent calendar pop up

Anyone managed to stop constant pop up Advent calendar advert in the forums? I get it ever minute or so on my iPad.

That’s weird, restarted ipad and problem resolved.

I use ad blocker and 'stylish', as recommended a few years ago and don't suffer from adverts.

I have mixed feelings about this, on the one hand allowing adverts enables us to enjoy forums such as this one. On the other hand, too many adverts can be very annoying especially on small screens such as smart phones (which is how I generally view it). On balance I feel the number of adverts is tolerable and I haven't experienced the advert calendar.
