Just had a new one, TDV8 and we are getting (average) 25.6 mpg. I don't think that's too bad.

I got me one of the V-8 diesels too, average about 24 ish, not too bad, but have you had a price for new 'Pads' yet????

Yes, swopped our V6 for the V8 and used to get 26 around town and about 28 on a run, but it did take 10 000 miles before it loosened up, I am hoping the same will happen with this one. Fantastic engine though, as good as the petrol V8 which does about 16mpg.

Carbon Neutral for 45 000 as well (whatever that means)!
