OK, so how do I add a video to a post on here?

Host it on YouTube and enclose the video reference in YouTube tags:

Um, what I do is copy the YouTube link into the the icon at the top of this (my) post that looks like a film strip, over on the far right.

It’s still eluding me at the moment, I’ve managed to add a link to my YouTube video but I’d like to show a thumbnail of the video, which is itself a link - any further ideas?

Oh I see - it's on another thread. It doesn't appear to be allowing embedding - perhaps some setting on the video when you uploaded it?
