adding crew to turkish transit log

As I understand it, and I'm new to sailing Turkish waters, you need to record all those you have on board. Problems can arise if the transit log record of names/passport numbers does not tally with who is aboard. I have yet to ascertain if this applies to a 'trip in the bay' within sight of the permanent mooring or only strictly enforced when cruising.
I have heard that 25 euro is the price for completing a change page? Don't know if this is cheap or rip off!

Good afternoon:

I have been in and around Turkish waters since mid-eighties and have NEVER been stopped or questioned by anyone while out of harbour and even then only occasionally.

While I would never advise others to break the law, I have never added or changed my Transit log (a) because of the hassle, (b) because the new computerized system requires the use of an agent which will cost you 40 euros to add your guests and 40 euros to remove them. If stopped or questioned I would say that the people on board were guests and we were day sailing for pleasure.

Have just booked out of Turkey (Bozburun), in and out of Symi and back into Turkey in Marmaris and it cost a total of 330 TL of which 15 euros was paid in Symi.

The biggest cost was for the parasites (otherwise known as agents) - the transit log cost 50 euros.

Next time I will be visiting Symi for a few hours for some shopping (pork chops and bacon) and leave again immediately to anchor in a bay or return to Turkey.

Cheers

Just a quick post to advise that I did get stopped by the Coastguard 2 days ago sailing off Ayvalik archipelago.
My transit log was not up to date with a crew change so they gave me a warning and told me to revise the log in Edremit (Akcay)
I was lucky to have a Turkish national onboard as coastguard spoke very little english and the HarbourMaster in Akcay spoke none at all. However with the aid of my Turkish friend we managed to convince the HM to sign and stamp the change sheet. I don't think he had ever done this before because there was no charge!!.
The downside is that I have used up my last change page so will have to buy another Transit Log in Canakkale when I change some crew again.
