adding channel 31 to Raymarine 260e

The unit is on 'international' but I don't have channel 31 (going to Europe this summer). Is it an easy fix? What do I need to do?

Channel 31 is reserved for lifeboats. It can be added to most radios by a dealer but the channel needs to be officially added to your VHF license by Ofcom.

Ch 31 as used by the RNLI as a private channel is not the same as the channel 31 as used by marinas in the Netherlands. The first is a simplex channel and the second is a duplex channel.
