As far as I can see the relevant bit for liesure sailors is

"People may exercise outside as many times each day as they wish. For example, this would include angling and tennis. You will still not be able to use areas like playgrounds, outdoor gyms or ticketed outdoor leisure venues, where there is a higher risk of close contact and touching surfaces. You can only exercise with up to one person from outside your household –this means you should notplay team sports, except with members of your own household."

So I expect the sea anglers will be pushing hard to get out of marinas and yachties will be waving their mackeral trolling lines as well.

We can have resident family + one crew as long as they stay 2m away !

With their usual level of competency, the government have arguably managed to contradict themselves within that one sentence! Is it exercise within household, or household plus one?

Is it really that hard to understand?

You can exercise with as many people as you like from your household, or one person from outside your household.

Since a team sport must by definition require at least 4 people you cannot play a team sport with people from outside your household

My post was supposed to be sarcastic for the main part. However, if taken literally, there's in theory nothing to say that a team game couldn't be made up of one (largish) household and one other, so it's still a rubbish statement!!! :p

Yes there is.

Any game with more than 2 people must all come from one household. Otherwise at least one, and arguably all, are breaking the rules.
