I was introduced to this 'wonder' product with respect to my motor bike. It is as many would attest the worlds best anti corrosion product. Like WD40 but a lot better

I was thinking of applying (spraying) it over my several marine engines from outboard petrol to inboard petrol and diesel.

Looking at the specs etc it seems like this will be ok but was wondering if anyone one here uses it on their boat engines

I'm a great fan and took it to my engines with gusto. Only thing is belt dust and other dust of which I was amazed at just how much there was at sea of all places. Within a few months the engines looked grubby and uncared for so I have stopped using it except on winterization and then a thorough clean pre season.

Interesting about the belt dust thing. What about on outboards where there are no belts

It's also wonderful stuff to have if you've dunked your tender OB or got salt water on the head. Just keep it off any cable ends or threaded ends. It has great penetration qualities that are not always desirable.

I use ACF50 on the jetski engine at the end of the season,
and I use it on the hydraulic pump of the hilo platform because that one is in a position where it gets salt water spray sometimes,
and finally I started using it inside the tender on fuel filter and battery,

I'm a satisfied user of the product !

ACF is wonderful stuff but you need to know how to use it to get the best from it.

ACF won't make your engine looks clean...it will make it look dirty. ACF covers things in a thin layer that dirt etc will stick to. This means that once applied any crap will stick to it and make your engine lok rubbish.

We put it on bikes in the autumn and then don't wash it off until spring. This keeps the salt away very well indeed.

Also ACF will burn off if put on anything hot but it will work fine on pumps etc and it's safe on paint.

Finally to get the best when applying it sit the can in a cup of hot water for ten mins..this gets the ACF warm making it spray much better and finner.

It's great stuff and i use it.
