:D those roofs are brilliant! remember how easy it was on our little SC29! we just to take great pleasure in sitting under the roof with a drink watching all the sports boat crews struggling in the rain! how the tide has turned!!!

we are away this weekend otherwise we would have come out for a play if the weather pays ball!
 
This'll be the 1st time (apart from quick river poodle) we've taken her out since we got her so we've hired Jules (powerskip') for the day for a bit of pontoon bashing etc to get used to the differences so we're looking forward to that. If its a bit blustery and rainy then its a good thing for the parking skills eh? :)

well there is plenty of space at most of the marinas on the river so should be plenty of pontoons to come alongside. i know Mercuary has a few free slots and the tide honks through there so be a good spot to practice on!
 
If your worried about the Wx then take a look at the current 120 hour chart.
Just hope & prey that low out in the atlantic tracks North.
 
Up here we have clear skies, 2 mph winds and temps in double figures.... And for the next three days more of the same. Pinch me I must be dreaming...

Good luck with your close quarters manoeuvres, an essential practice which will no doubt boost your confidence

OOOOOOOHHHHHHH Zippy, what can I say???....Bloody fantastic!!!! Were supposed to come home last night but just wanted to stay down for as long as poss so we drove back today instead. I am still grinning at the thought of it all (yes i know that's sad) but just want to get back out there as soon as! She handles perfectly. I loved our old boat but my God...what a different experience! Honestly, I couldn't believe just how smooth she was at 30 knts! I took some video and honestly the only shake on it was my hand! I had every intention of posting it here but it's mostly just twist and turn wake which will bore the pants off you so I'll spare you that :). Oh and Julie...I was gonna say loadsa nice things about you but ya kinda blown that now haven't you seeing as you snitched on me lol. Gotta admit I nearly p*ed my pants when you went into those turns at that speed and even more so when I turned around and CHRIS was doing it too!!! Great fun and so pleased we did it so thanx Jules :):). Giving serious thought to the cruise next year!
Steve...of course you can come and play, anytime. You're more than welcome to take the helm whenever you want.
I wanna go on and on coz it was so brilliant but in a nutshell...the best upgrade so far!
