Absolute Tides app

I’ve downloaded the 2026 data, it seems to work fine. I note various older posts on here about the app’s premature demise, as far as I’m aware it’s still operating. However the Inshore Waters forecast feature, very useful, seems to have stopped updating. Is it just me or can another user validate my experience? I have emailed the developer but have received no response.

Just looked and it shows a forecast from 14th April. So broken, I guess.

Tide bit works fine on my MacBookAir, iPhone and iPad. On the MacBook and iPhone I had to use restore purchases from the Menu as I had only purchased for the iPad.

Inshore weather forecasts also stuck on the 14 April, so not updated.

In case you haven’t done so already, the app has been updated and the weather is now working.

I’ve been using this app for years and never noticed the weather forecast!

Yes, if I want to know tides I go to a tides app - and Absolute Tides is great for the UK.
If I want to know weather I go to a weather app - such as Predict Wind - or more often direct to websites.
Can’t see why I would want weather from a tides app.

It didn’t appear in my list of updates, but when I searched for it on the App Store, instead of saying open, it said update so I did. It’s a bit odd but it seems to work

Wot he said. Very strange, but weather was stuck on april 14th, searched for app on appstore, it says open ur til you tap the app itself to show the details etc and then it says update!
Updated and now it works. Thanks Boomerang, I’d never have figured that out

Interesting - tried that on my Android phone and it is still stuck on April 14th. Did you uninstall the app and reinstall?
