Well I recognise Lot 20 from my cycle to work - I go on the path round the millpond and she used to be moored next to the visitors pontoon - last time I saw her the mast was down though...

The 4yo cabin boy spotted the, err, flower bed at Fishbourne terminal this year and exclaimed "Look daddy! There's an Isle of Wight ferry aground, with flowers in it!"

"Aye son, that's the best place for 'em" ;-)

Not necessarily, youngsters seem to think that it 'doesn't mattter' if they play with a tatty one. I always lock mine up now after it was found drifting up the river after being seen earlier being paddled by kids around using a piece of driftwood as a paddle. Had to pay salvage (bottle of whisky) to get it back
