Hi folks , I am trying to get aboard a Boat in Plymouth Harbour , I refuse his offer of a small inflatable , far to dangerous at my age /abilities , so thought that I should use a Water Taxi , you know the sort of Craft plying for hire transporting boat owners to /from their Craft at anchor /moorings in the Harbour ; often found in Yachting /Boat Clubs to ease the boarding instead of using a dinghy

Tried various Marinas / Authorities etc all totally not any use whatever ; replies were along the lines of 'whats that' and 'use a dinghy', so quite useless , so far

So asking on there pages , please does anyone know of a 'water taxi' service that could tranport us (me and the boats owner) out to a boat and back ?

Boat moored off Oreston

Thank you

To my knowledge there is no such service in that part of Plymouth.

From where he's moored the pontoons at Plymouth Yacht Haven would seem ideal.

Ah THANK you Mr K , me not knowing that area at all was not aware of the Plymouth Yacht Haven even missed it in my searches ; and when I scoured their web site they appear to offer a facility /service to collect Boats from the area and take then back to the yacht Haven , or return Boats to their moorings in the area ; so just maybe the conundrum has been solved ; will contact seller in the Morning and discuss the arrangements

Not very welcoming of the owner to not offer to collect you from a marina or club/public pontoon if you aren't as mobile as you once were.

Hi there Mr P yes indeed , the seller has stated that he has his own issues so has been putting it all off ; but think that all will be well soon .
thank you
