Halfway through my herculean insulation project I decided to switch to cork tiles for the pantry and ceiling. At 4 mm they're a bit thinner than I would've liked but they came in easy to use 1x1 ft tiles. Self adhesive even, so no worries with the naff Evo Stik not going off properly and taking forever to dry.
Or so I thought. Most are now sagging badly or have fell off, great.
I could use staples but since I plan to paint them it would look rather nasty and might even lead to condensation getting under the tiles. So obviously a better glue is needed. Some seem to prefer hot glue but I'm a bit slow for that. Always hardens before I'm finished. We're talking about 160 square feet here so I'm not going to cough up the money for WEST epoxy, that's way out of my price range. PVA although this is an interior job, wouldn't be suitable either I would've thought. Any ideas?
