A shot across my foredeck

Yes, Pegasus. Don't know what happened, but she's having a section of bulwark replaced, which suggests rot rather than scarphing in a bit for damage, depending on the damage I suppose.

But mentioning Morwenna, who made her mast?

Now look here Seagreen, you know I am never one to criticise, but,.......brightwork out in the frost, sails on, no winter cover tut tut tut.....making future work for youself tut tut tut.

Does anyone know the low-down on Morwenna being rescued twice???!?!?

Brightwork? If its exposed, it'll be stripped and revarnished in the next couple of months. The rails need a right going over - had enough of Varnol so I'm sticking with Int. Org.

The coachroof and cockpit have a stormproof (survived 65+ kts gusts, no effect) white topgun cover. Foredeck's getting one this year. Sails on? Hmm. Layup bodged due to nasty gales/tides and a trip to disneyland. I'm making new covers anyway. All starts when the snow goes and i can get on the pontoon without slipping into the river.

Morwenna rescued twice? That's getting superstitious..

Look, only pulling your baggywrinkle ;-)

It says 'rescued second time in a fortnight.....'

They also suffered a broken bowsprit on their first sail from Bristol enroute to Padstow for Mayday last year.
Something seriously wrong with the spar design, rigging or manufacture it appears.
