A revolutionary new development which will change the maritime industry forever

i want to see some photographs, cold you post some, Skipper14?

As we are currently in the development stages, clearly we are concerned about industrial espionage. So in the interests of security we will not be posing pictures untill the system is complete and the appropriate patents have been proved.

It is obvious that a yacht would not fit into what appears to be a skip, so the only logical conclusion is you are trying to smear my business.

I'm not sure why in a time of high unemployment anyone would want to destroy a new business model.

A good point. Also I thought skips were used for rubbish (ideas)?

From your original post :

''The plan is to essentially have a large vat of anti foul on a HIAB lorry The boat will be lowered into, thus giving a full and complete coat of anti foul on the entire under water area of the boat''

From a later post:

''Initially the service will only be available for boats of up to 25 foot''

Don't skips come in 25 foot lengths?

I don't think anyone has posted a problem we don't have a solution for, what is it you find so ridiculous?

The whole concept is ridiculous. Decent antifouling has an SG approaching 2, so to get the boat dipped to the waterline you're going to have to stack virtually its own weight on top of the deck - say 3 tons of weights dumped on the deck of a typical small cruiser. There's also no way of controlling film thickness. Barking, absolutely barking.

Skipper14 don't think its barking! I am looking forward to him doing a presentation to a group of very hairy, very cynical marine engineers.
