Obviously after taking into account, fuel, water and equipment on board
Yes of course. we will weigh the yacht using the crane before lowering, do the maths, add the weight and dip it. Simple.

Do you take bookings for lectures? I am sure my engineering institution could fit you in this winters programme and we have a few members who work in the marine industry.

Drop me a PM, a bunch of hairy engineers would be interested.Am busy sorting the finer details of the system. Might be free in the summer if that is convenient?
Do you use a spin or tumble dryer before relaunch?
Will you paint under the slings? And what about anodes...

Sorry I missed the dyson idea.. Sounds more workable than a tumble dryerI think that I've covered that.
A quick calc and you're going to need one hell of a lorry.
A container 15metres long x 4metres wide x 2m deep = 120m3 so approx 120tons if its the same density as water.... And that's just for a 45 footer![]()

But you haven't allowed for the fact the container would be V-SHAPED ... ...
Initially the service will only be available for boats of up to 25 foot due to the problems you have mentioned. We have a slightly different delivery system in mind for the larger vessels.
BTW, protecting anodes & fittings is a doddle. For a small fee I will explain it to you.![]()
I hope you get a good discount on the antifoul, as that lot works out at approx £3,360,000 @£28 per litre...most of which you will never use.
