Probably a good idea. It wd/cd certainly be an excellent place to start for newbies.

IMHO, the FAQ's should be pruned of non-relevance so they can are digestible by any newbie. But could still be a "discussion" - as wd be say petrol against diesel, with arguments both ways.

Someone new pops in and says'What boat do I buy' we give them link to FAQ tell them to read, then come back and ask questions.
