Don't look for praise from me. If I get a dink, I hand it to an expert to repair. What you are up to is black magic, and I can only sit in awe.
The soundtrack is superb tho, haven't heard it in years!
Honestly, well worth anyone here taking a look and bothering to do the download to see what you are up to...
Post this in scuttlebutt, though classic forum is getting more and more popular, your video is worthy of wider attention, and many who would never look in here, would appreciate the format as it's very user friendly.
PS, that means I think it's Brill! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Beautiful piece of work. I hope you enjoy many happy hours sailing her. You deserve to having put that amount of work into her, and I used to think that changing a plank or doubling a rib was a lot of work.
Thanks for sharing such a wonderful photographic story with everyone. You should be very proud of yourself (and of the boat!). Hope to see you at an OGA event sometime!
Thanks for the comments folks /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Ello Peter.. Some of the very early footage has been lost <sigh> But Movies of K.L. and Arrival here.(98) plus Move and launch (05) are all done..but they are all way too big files for my webspace.... hopfully on DVD soon...
"industrial" is a much smaller file as it is all stills.
Very fine work, both boat and movie!
I'll keep the movie on file to look at every time I get disheartened by the jobs that need doing on my own boat.
I may even tackle some of the work properly instead of putting gloop on top of old stuff.
I'm in awe..................... just fantastic, very well done and I hope you enjoy using her as much as you enjoyed rebuilding her. Everybody on here owes you a drink! I thought we had done a load of work on mine Phewww?
Looks a fabulous job very well done, a credit to all your hard work. A very nice pictorial record it says everything and all in seven years or so. I've been at it for over 12 years doing something similar in my back garden on a much smaller and lighter boat. When I get Mercia III back in the water hope to see you at an OGA do.
PS Are you putting your post on the new OGA Forum.
I am sure it will be appreciated and the Forum needs a boost
I do hope this is not against the rules sort of advertising here.
