A movie. But does it work?

Absolutely awesome! (and a great foot tapping soundtrack).
I am not sure how much if any of the original timber remains, it looks to be almost a new boat to the old design. A brilliant job in any case.

hi,

This Mr AWB has visted from scuttlebut to view.

The only thing I am having trouble coping with is my admiration.

Congratulations hope you enjoy her. She is beautiful.

Great Movie and of particular interest as I work in Lynn, love sailing and often wondered to that sad old hulk in Boal Quay. You have done a brilliant job and must be really proud of what can only be described as a superb piece of restoration. The music to the clip was just perfect. Enjoy your days on her.

Russell I am lost for words...a fantastic achievement...Puts all our efforts into perspective...I hope you have many happy times on her. Any idea how many man hours you spent on her? Congratulations!!!!

Chill folks... I am not the only nutter to undertake and succeed such a rebuild.
One guy started 2 months after me... and launched years before i did!
(He did cheat a bit by having SWMBO do the painting)

As for man hours... mine are somewhat irrelavant
A significant hand injury in 2000 permanatly put paid to my working at anything like a "normal" rate of progress.

All in all it's an easy job... You just got to be totally OBSESSED.

Well everyone else has used all the words I was going to, but I got to say it all again- I'm well impressed! Fantastic, Victorious looks great and the movie shows just how much you're put into her. Love the photo of the transom going... the space where she was after the crane took her away was excellent too!

That is fantastic,a joy to view, thanks for putting both a lovely boat back on the water and such a good photo record so that we could all enjoy it.

Victorious! Everyone wants to join in on the congratulations so why should I miss out. An inspiration to us all, takes just messin' about in boats into another dimension. I know it's all been done before by many other enthusiasts(ok obsessives!) around the world, but they didn't have such a good soundtrack . A great advert for old wooden boats, an even better one for modern communications.
Have many years great sailing in her.

The bit that amazed me was that the telegraph pole was still there in one of the photographs!

Were you not looking for a boom at one point?

Nice show, I did not realise that you raised the gunwale on her, or is that my mistake?
