Yes and the wrong self tapping screws and the wrong glue. There was some really hard to forgive stuff like handholds, towel rails and bed surrounds being secured with self tappers and soundproofing panels falling on to hot engines. Also cracks appeared on 2 internal bulkheads where they were joined to the hull. This was not Friday afternoon stuff but about quality decisions taken at the design stage. The T48 was a great boat in concept but spoiled for me by these irritating failures.

You did well to ignore the idiot on here that seems to be nothing more than a sour killjoy. Sealine have a very strong following from dedicated owners, and as a delighted owner of eight Sealines over the years, (and looking forward to a ninth soon) I know you have bought a great boat. I am sure you will many hours of fun on it.

Many congratulations for the new boat and thank you halcyon for another highly entertaining quality video.

We used to own an F37 for four years. The boat was pretty much faultless and we have many fond memories of her.

All the best with the new boat, I'm sure you will be very happy with her.
 
Many thanks Boating Dave for your kind comments. I'm very happy with the boat and how she handles. I realise the virtues of many great boats we all enjoy. Like you and the majority of folks on here I'm a bit surprised at a few of the contributors to the forum. Luckily in the main, I've received many nice comments. It's supposed to be an informative forum for a community that loves boating. There's the odd one or two on here that should probably get out on their boats more and chill like the rest of us.

Beats waiting for your boat to be road delivered, minus Bomber mast, props and with lifts out and in either end. I'd recommend a delivery skipper for an assisted delivery every time.

congratulations on a lovely new boat. Only one person with negative response well F him. I would love to be able to afford boat like that. My pride and joy is an American sports boat (rinker) but that's all I could afford. I would be gutted if someone had then completely slated it on my first trip. Either way I hope you have many great hours on it.

Many thanks. I had a Rinker many years ago and had a lot of fun on her.
And yes, they'll always be the odd killjoy and appreciated your sentiment!
