I like the appropriate name for the Centaur in the background - "CHIRON"

Most centaurs were infamous for their drinkings and opportune sexual habits, and were often violent and pretty uncouth. However, Chiron was kind, cultured and benevolent, and dedicated himself to the study of medecine.

Given that Lakey (for it is he ?) has clearly failed to raise a decent-sized bonfire (in the foreground) sufficient to make the customary sacrifices to the weather Gods, his attempts to reunite the sacred waters of The Lake from within the vessel to without, must be seen in the context of a propitiatory and prophylactic ritual to ensure that divine wrath is avoided, and that his camera batteries never go flat. The colours of blood red and virginal white in the noble vessel's sails should be read as having no significance beyond that ordinarily given to that of a helmsman seeking to appease The Lake whilst simultaneously seeking enkrateia.

The bowing of the head under a hood whilst undertaking such practices shows that the petitioner is complying with Collar Regs.

Ho yes !

Er, yes.

But all I see is a guy being rained on, whilst bailing - out, then having a quick "jimmy-Riddle" thinking that noone was about.

Must get some glasses, oh, and a classical education!!

Ha!Ha!

Too tight to get a chemical toilet if you ask me. More like a thunder box than a cool box.

(It never rains in the Lake District..must be somewhere else........)

Nah. The bowing of the head is exhaustion after baling 5 inches of water out of the boat. Most of which came in during my very pleasant half-hour sail to the picnic site in the warm afternoon sun. This hot weather is OK but my poor little boat dries out too much.

I don't know if it's controversial, but I was certainly wet.

Then I went and put on my "birthday suit", I got it for my birthday, what else am I going to call it?

Chiron is a good name for a Centaur, I decided when I had looked it up, they don't do classical at Batley High, even though they have a Centaur on the school badge, with bow an' 'arrow.

I think the typical Centaur may fit better in my case though, or maybe that's an aspiration.
