A challenge for you

I am currently working on an addition for a friends boat.
There will be 4 pieces.
This is the first one that I made yesterday





The bottom section encases a firm foam - can't be compressed but it is a rigid foam.



Then, today I made a second one and added some tags so that they can be tied on and not fall off.



I have two more to make but these will be different - more angles.

So, here's the challenge - anyone care to guess what they will be?

No
To be coffins, they would have to be really small people - these are only 9" long.

Are they supports you fit under davits to stop the tender tubes rubbing on the davit.

Padding for beach legs perhaps? Or to go behind a fender board?

No idea! The velco-ed top bits have slack in them to make a tunnel. So they can attach to something like a swim ladder or chair, as flotation devices

Are they to hold the Drogue rope afloat.

Obviously passing that attaches to a round tube. Quite a large O/D tube, larger than guard rails.

Temp chocks in a hi lo platform for something like a jet ski to sit between or on while waves wash over when it’s down and the toys bobbing about .

Yes to stop the ladder banging against the sides of quiet a tall sided yacht and to create a bit of stand off ?????

Sort of small cushions to be tied upon some uncomfortable chair armrests?

Do they wrap around a davit to provide protection for the tender when winched right up? Probably a bit thick though!
