A 'can't fail' diesel bug treatment needed urgently

That all seems sound if you can see the tank floor and there's no gross amounts of tar about.
Amazing how quick it can grow, most tanks don't get looked at from one year to the next.
I must change the diesel filter in my car!
Good Luck!

You can selectively sample from the bottom of a tank with a Pela and remove water that way too if there isn't a drain.
Here's pics of my tank. I believe I may have precipitated the problem (blockage of the uptake pipe by crud) by using FuelSet or similar "just in case". The engine was much happier after I cleaned & steam-cleaned everything, including all the pipes - it ran!

...Here's pics of my tank...

Thanks for sharing those, I now feel much happier about mine!

Our tanks's stainless steel too, but the problem's purely crud in the diesel, you able to see the crud in the corners by their reflection in the tank sides. The industrial alcohol seems to have turned the majority (all?) of the cruds from live/white to black&brown/dead? in about 30 seconds, just need to get it all out now.
