60 plus ribs out for the day at Easdale

This is the 11th year the Easdale Rib Rendezvous has been organised in the Inner Hebrides in Scotland. This year we came to the event and I would estimate that some 60 ribs attended. Here is a video of our first day of the event. It was an incredible day and thanks to the organisers

When my car broke down last month with a collapsed wheel bearing I had to get it lifted to the garage, while driving to the garage the driver was talking about this and he was going to be taking his rib, he lives in Oban.

Longest trip my father an I did in our little 12ft tender was go from Creagan and round Lismore back to Creagan in 1970, took us about 9 hours at around 4knots, was a fantastic day with calm seas.

This is certainly a lovely area for boating and I will certainly be coming back at some point
