6’6” tall motor sailer

I’m looking at options for about 30-35’ motor sailer or motor cruiser with lots of head room, I’m 6’6” and want to be able to stand and walk comfortably. What makes and models have decent head height ? Thanks

The Island Packet SP Cruiser should fit the bill.

Headroom is exeptional-never had a guest on board who had to duck.

First Mate and I are 'Shorthouses' so not an issue for us.

They are a bit bigger than you asked for, but AFAIK, there are not many options with headroom of that level.

Biggest problem might be finding one, they are scarce, and expensive.

You are definitely going to struggle at that length I'm afraid. I have a Colvic Watson 34, massive internal volume for the length but only the wheelhouse is just about your height, everywhere else is 6'ish. I was once on a Jeanneau 45DS, you could definitely have stood up in that. Berth lengths will also probably be an issue, may need to look at a bit of restructuring of internals which might be possible or not. I don't know anything about motor boat heights others will advise...

Maybe you could extend your scope and also look at Pilot House Yachts.

Have a look at the Skandinavian built stuff, as they are all tall. I'm 6ft2" and dismissed so many short ass only boats. Ended up with a Finnsailer which might suit you the LM,'s were also a contender.

Apparently, the Netherlands have the tallest people. All the ones I meet on the East Coast seem to have big yachts.

There is plenty of headroom in both our pilothouse and lower accomodation for the OP's height!

Yanks can be very tall too!
