4x4 LFR for snatch recovery of vehicle - marine application of the LFR, no mention of anchors :)

The thread was posted to explore the developments, if any, on the use of monster LFRs. The thread moved in the right direction until......

Zoidberg has 2 gathering dust, I also have two (also gathering dust) -

Akshully, I have FOUR.... I got carried away while 'doom-scrolling' deep into AliExpress, and later mentioned to Jon Neeves I had 'a couple' of them.
And I've been searching for a sound boaty use for 'em.

You have 4 4x4 LFRs! Maybe first up you should see a doctor - it seems a dangerous fetish.

Used for running backstays (a rather elitist device for this forum) seems a good use as does a transom turning block, we all run spinnaker sheets (or a drogue) off somewhere back there (and this frees up an expensive block - for somewhere else?) I can see a use as a 'diverter, for a main sheet. Thinwater's application sort of like your usage in the above picture (gold anodising would have been more photogenic).

After those niche applications we have scraped the barrel - and you may still have at least one needing a good home.

They are so cheap - there must be other applications.

Maybe like runners the thread should have been on the Racing subsection.....

You wouldn't believe the other boaty junk I have squirreled away....

I have no shame!
