Not enough information there. Do your 2 x 32 serve different circuits (Bus A +Bus B, or domestics+Airco, etc)? Is there a bridging relay so that feeding 230v to just one of your Marincos and nothing to the other one will power ALL the boat's 230v circuits? Or what?

Thanks, bear with me as this is new to me.
I have 2 inlets, one domestic sockets, one a/c. Both 32 amp. I have one shore power cable that when plugged into each inlet separately works ok.
Current shore power cable is Marinco at one end, 32 amp uk at the other with a 32amp to 16amp connector to the dock.
When the generator is running and no shore power everything works OK. i.e A/C and sockets etc. I have 230v and 12v working ok.
My thought was new Marinco, new 2.5mm cable with 16amp connector and everything should be OK. NO, tried it this weekend and the cable doesn't power up anything.

If you have the same marinco plug and the same configured 16 amp config then it should work. It sounds like you may have not connected up the new lead correctly.
Check the the current shore power cable with adaptor fitted using a test meter set to continuity to see which Marinco terminal goes to which 16 amp connection terminal and then copy this in the new lead.
The large Marinco terminal with bent edge is ground and the big round terminal in the 16 amp is ground.

probably obvious, but some boats switch from shorepower to generator automatically, others require a switch to be operated. Also 16A is unlikely to power your aircon - if you switch it on, it may well blow the fuse in the shorepower.
