My Bertram 25 has twin mercruisers and I need new props I can replace like for like with 3 blades but have the option to pay slightly more for 4 blade. Will there be much advantage in doing this? Both props spin the same way hence at low speed really suffer from windmill effect will this affect be heightened or lessened by adding the extra blade?

What they doing spining the same way?

I fitted new four blade props last year. Cant say theres been any wild improvement. Maybe a bit smoother.
