290 Dp outdrive rebuild

Evening all

I've been having lower power issues from 1 engine on a twin outdrive boat

Changed all the obvious the only difference now is one outdrive is quite tight to turn the props by hand

Anyone stripped a 290dp and changed the bearings?

Any thoughts on the on coming problems if I attempt in the shed ?

1 Get the workshop manual before you touch it and then decide if your up to it

Best to find somebody local if you can ,if you do down go down the get somebody else to fix it route .
Not sure if The Highlands and Islands are Pauls stamping ground.
One or two outfits down in here in Kent do not have stellar reputation regards promptness of service or quality of work.
Nice if you just pop down the road to drop off the units locally and nip back to collect them a "little" later.
