I may have a crew person for the trip and just need to keep options open for a while regarding port of departure. If I am singlehanding I will definitely depart from Poole Quay.

I and crew enjoy beer/ wine and good company so hope to fit in.

I am about to do the spreadsheet.
Can you let me know your current best guess on numbers for "about" midday wine tasting (there is a discount on purchases and they deliver to your boat). How many for evening meal and any veggies .
I prepare a spreadsheet listing such details that you are happy to share. I request participants to PM me with their details (not those that have attended before if details not changed).
To distribute the final spreadsheet I need your private e mail address.
Details I include are:-
Forum name, actual name, boat name, boat type, tel mobile number, how many on board (for dinner at YC and I also need to know any veggies), departure port, departure date and approx. time.
To get the berthing discount I only forward to the marina a list of the boat names.
No compulsion about info but others and especially newbees find it useful to be able to contact others leaving from same port at similar times. My crew have found it useful to track down lost sunglasses when alcohol has prevented them from remembering on which boat they left them in post dinner drinking sessions.
I will post on here when I issue version 1 of the spreadsheet so if you have not received it then I have either got your private e mail address wrong or you have not PM'ed me with it and other details. Further Versions are issued as info becomes more complete or errors corrected.
For afternoon pontoon wine and nibbles party we do wear labels with Forum names on EG "sailfree" or "tony- long suffering crew of sailfree". It breaks the ice and ensures newbees are welcomed and feel included. If you have any sticky address type labels please bring them as my stock is running low. Janes Buoy usually starts the drinks/nibbles stock but additions welcome. There was one year when we ran out of beer but it was hot and sunny!
Unusually for me I will be on my best behaviour as 1st officer will be joining us with the car (by ferry) so that we can drive back to Portugal on the Sunday & Monday. It does start to get chilly in UK in October!
Berthing will be done by crew for practice ( I have a pig of a berth in Poole for their return journey!) so it will probably be better than my normal cockups!
Reminder please bring € for YC evening meal. Please settle up for any additional drinks ordered at the time the YC do require the whole bill settled as one bill to avoid administrative difficulties - we do encourage everyone to mix with others so its rare for one boat crew to sit together - my crew started this practice- must change my toothpaste!! Our practice of requesting one person from each table to collect for that table has worked well in the past.

At first search of previous years I do not have any contact details for Horatio Nelson, CPD, Rotrax, Potato Navigator, Derek Gillard, or Robin Birch - either mobile no or private e mail address - or both - are missing. I only give the marina a list of participating boats to obtain the berthing discount.
