Hi Guys
We currently own a Humber 40 and are selling and thinking of buying a pearl 43 built in 2003.. One we are looking at was built in 2003 then it had new engines and these do not match Boat docs - Serial No start with 86.
Any Ideas as to why a new boat in 2003 would need new TAM D63P replacement engines ? And a bit concerned that the Docs do not match or had been upgraded to show when they were refitted and by whom..
They engines are TAM D63P and survey shows 380 hours each The port engine would not start; it appears to be a problem with the ‘EC’ control with the red warning light flashing. An engineer managed to start the port engine but the engine controls would not work.
We think it used to be in Port Solent
Any ideas or thoughts gratefully received.
