I’d say you have a good result There , old boat and engines .
Safe margin is max attained rpm and drop back 200 you can run at that all day as long as water temp is ok .

I am glad you think so Paul. I thought that 3650-3700 was a little too low on the low side given the book figure of 3900. Did I read 3800 somewhere as well?

Has the boat always been in fresh water? If it is propped for salt water it may struggle a little in fresh.

It has original props (in terms of size) that have been refurbed but I have only WOT tested on fresh water. I am on fresh mostly but at sea a few times a year.

I would be open to suggestions of changes to make but I am only concerned about engine health. I am happy with the performance as it stands and will happily bomb around in the low 3000 range if it's not hurting the engines.
