I have a Parker Racor R12T filter which appears to be leaking slightly through the water drain off at the base of the glass bowl. There does not appear to be any diesel leakage higher up the filter. I tried tightening the plunger which should seal this drain off but without any major improvement , and consequently some air gets into the fuel line which builds up and then stops the engine after about 30 minutes running. I then have to bleed the system again to run the engine. I wonder if anyone has had a similar problem with this standard fuel filter or what the solution might be? Any thoughts most welcome. Thanks.
