I'm replacing the rubber seals in all the main cabin windows in my Centaur right now - I have been looking at the original gaskets and wondered if anyone has a more modern solution?

Is it wise to use a bit of sealant in conjunction with the rubber gasket?

Hi. yes, I have used Eagle for my customers in the past and they were very good.
I have removed the old rubber, it has shrunk and perished.

On customer's yachts I dont mind using other contractors, but on my own boat I like to have a go at anything myself - for self satisfaction, and for economy, but still like quality.

yes, Westerly always used the best. They probably invented glass for the job!
