The trouble with these (apart from the issue of possible confusion with mains equipment) is that they can be plugged in either way, and one way round your drill will run backwards. A three pin version is available with the pins offset so can only be connected one way. I use these for connecting the battery to my electric outboard motor or to the boat supply for re-charging.
