Jrudge has linked to the sort of fitting you need. I doubt you'll find an off-the-shelf adaptor for this; you'll probably just need to buy the plug and cut the cigarette lighter plug off your inverter. If you're struggling to get one, give BCU a call and they'll sell you one as a Fairline accessory.

Thanks Jrudge and Jimmy the builder. I will look into that. Does any one know if I can buy just the plug to fit the socket, in the UK off the shelf, or will I have to go through Fairline? I guess its something to do with it being heavy duty socket. The one at the helm is cigar lighter type.

I have a marinco one on the boat. Ordered it off eBay from the Usa.

Also look in your Fairline blue document box as when new one would be great n that box.

Thanks for that. I will check the box. Never noticed one but maybe overlooked it.
Cheers

Just wondering if anyone can confirm the below is the correct Marinco plug for the outlet used on Fairline transom? I meant to check last time I was on the boat and take a photo but forgot, I'm in the USA this week and would be good to pick one or two up if I've identified the right plug.

It looks correct

How big is the inverter? I think these plugs are only rated at 16A, which is equivalent to about 200W output at 240V, and that's assuming 100% efficiency of the inverter.

Hi Nick, not for an inverter, looking to get one of the 12V tender inflators and power it from the socket on the transom. Have ordered a couple from Ebay, more expensive than I thought, basically worked out at $33 each shipped to me here in USA. Still probably cheaper than ordering in the UK and quicker.

Ah, sorry, didn't spot that you weren't the OP, who wanted the plug for an inverter. The plug you linked to looks correct for the socket in the OP's picture, but I don't know if it's the right socket for your Fairline, although his is also a Fairline so seems quite likely.
