Any reason to resurrect a 4½ year thread apart from a bit of blatant advertising.
Nothing that springs to mind...... not just an ad. no link though, I could do wiith smooth any shiny hair, or indeed some hair.

A cheap inverter is the easiest solution as SWMBO can run her normal dryer off it.
If you Google for it you will find it doesn't.

FWIW I have a very cheap 168W 12V hairdyer, purely as part of my very-cold-weather-engine-starting kit. My little 1GM10 doesn't have a glow plug, and the "hairdryer" directed into the air intake for half a minute and then while spinning the engine really does do the trick for me.![]()

Gas powered curlers and straighteners are quite commonplace, I guess there would be no market for a gas hairdryer with a 12v blower, well not a big enough one to interest any manufacturer I suppose.
Kneeling in front of the Eberspacher outlet amounts to the same thing![]()
