12 volt book download

I have seen a 12v manual, I think it was German origin which could be downloaded from this forum. I am having trouble with the domestic lighting circuit on my boat and hopefully this will explain the principle behind the wiring of the 12v ring main.
If any one can give me the details of the down load I would be grateful
