Any comments on this engine,spares availability and cost a plus factor in buying a yacht?

Many still around with plentiful parts. Raw water cooled unless modified.

I would have thought that a Volvo 10hp would have been the old MD6a.

The 2001 was the model number not the year.
I sold a boat with that model of engine and even though it said model number I still had people thinking it was the year.
