Sadly we only have an asymmetric so it will be a series of high speed gybes, keeping the wind at about 140 degrees and the speed above 8 knots to compensate for the erratic course. I think I'll forget lee bowing for now, that may over complicate things.

We have had an answer to the dog thing, he may be looked after by someone, still money but not as much. I almost have Mrs Kipper convinced, she was however extolling the virtues of the Blackwater in response; that worried me because I know she has a deep and I think irrational dislike of the estuary, so I may be up against it.
