I have just spent three damp days sailing up Loch Etive and Loch Creran. I used the Argos refurbished Lenovo tablet suggested on here

I knew where I was all the time and it added to my sailing pleasure

some reflections from the screen but under the spray hood it is easy to see, on the quarter berth by the hatch is also a good place - wearing a dark top helps a bit as well

battery llife is great

As it was i that recommended the Lenovo and VMH charts, i'm really pleased to hear you're happy with it Dylan.

Was out with mine yesterday and like you i found under the sprayhood a good place for visibility.
 
I think we should nominate Bob of Antares charts for a knighthood for services to west coast sailors & rockhoppers. What an amazing effort he has done producing his charts. Better than some self serving political wonk getting a gong.
