With the above budget what would you buy? There are requirements that must be met and these are firm:

3 double cabins (bunks in 3rd liveable with but not ideal)
Fly bridge
No maple, burr maple or gloss white interiors (cherry, oak, walnut all good)
Crew cabin is a big plus

Age is not too important but looks are - newer is definitely better but some designs never age

Boat for med use, so uk only resale not so much of an issue

Budget is firm, though I accept you can probably barter down most boats

Oh, and don't forget your reasons why

If your question is; for £150k what would I buy? Or what would we recommend to meet your spec?

If the former, an Azi 39. Fits my needs and soooooooo stylish.

If the latter, sorry, don't know of any 3 cabins for this sort of budget, maybe Sealine F43?

Sealine T47 for sale in Italy for £150k , 3 cabins . Allready in the med :)
Sorry missed the vat thing , my bad

Azimut 46 - looks bang up to date, great saloon, proven brand and this model ran for a decade so easy to sell, Italians are giving away mid sized flybridges at the moment, so may find one in budget. Bunks in 3rd cabin tho'

Princess 45 - also still looks great, proven brand, with great saloon, would need a hefty discount. Also bunks in 3rd cabin.

Rodman 41 - good hulls from fishing boat heritage (I think?). Later models for same money as better known makes

Leftfield choice - Sealine T46 with dinette conversion to third berth (easy conversion at relatively low cost, or some 3 cabs were built) - build quality to match the two above, still looks good, two big master cabins and a third double following conversion.

If you're going to the Med you've got to look at Italian boats as well. I think these tick all your boxes in terms of having 3 cabins + crew + cherry interior

Something classic

Hi Nick,

Not thought about the Azi and completely forgot about the roman. Don't seem to be any t46's for sale (well apart from two, one of which is 230k). The third cabin thing is to give kids 1 oy 1 girl separate areas

Yep, no problem with Italian boats.

The F430 looks interesting

Still, you wouldn't value my opinion anyway, would you?

We'd value your opinion if you actually read the original request, and had something helpful to say that was even vaguely within the required parameters.

e.g. It could be a Flybridge Sailing Yacht ??? :p
