Hi the thromostat is inside the fridge, should be covered with a white plastic clip on cover.
i have wiring diagrams for my fridge on the boat, not sure what model you have but i am happy to get them tomorrow and scan and e-mail them to you, they give all the voltages etc

Just took the boat out testerday after being laid up for winter.

Fuel guage goes from full to empty, and all over the place.......................:eek:
battery charging indicator not lighting up, so dont know if batteries are charging...

Having never done it myself before i would be a bit wary of trying it myself, especially if i cant get someone in to sort it out if i cock it up!
And i have already paid £200 to have the boat lifted out and blocked up so this work could be done
taking it somewhere else will incure...
I moved to a new Marina last July, and i was warned (after i moved) by numerous members not to have any work done by the marina, as thier mechanics etc were not up to the job and did shoddy work.
I have since found this to be true, as well as a p**s poor attitude to customer service.

Just thought i would update everyone
the battery when on charge, and did charge up fine, i then disconnected from the charger, and it has been sitting in the garage for a week now.
Just measuerd it and its still sitting at 13.06 volts so it looks like all is well:D

JUst thought i would let you all know the results.
Charged the battery at 8 amps, then onto a slower 4 amp charge.
Came home tonight, charger says charge complete, battery at 100% charge.
Disconnected charger and measured battery using multimeter, 12.9 VDC
so looks like its all ok.
