We have two big sperical fenders. Tied quite loosely fore and aft, they roll with the boat so that there is no rubbing. Problem solved.

Also near Muros, we've dried out in the Ensenafa de Muros, just north of the town. All good - firm clean sand - but tripper boats returning late afternoon create wash you'd rather not have just as you lift off. So, choose your timing carefully.
