Same decisions for me but the relatively small uplift in price and the added benefit in target velocity and heading identification swung it to Doppler for me. Delivery in next 6 weeks on new boat so won’t know how much better this will be but against my old E120 series, I suspect a different...

Just got back and read all replies. Thank you all so much. The discussion on power certainly gives much food for thought. I think the basics hold good whether for sail or power. Too many times I have seen the inexperienced pour on power in tricky situations. I am interested to see how this works...
