Anyone know of how to open these Port/Starboard Nav lights to check the bulb and contacts.
Afraid of forcing them apart incase of damage.
Nothing found on google etc of how to dismantle them or change the bulb
Thanks guys
I've replaced the skin fitting with another Nasa fitting and paddlewheel to be sure.
The old fitting sealant used by one of the previous owners was reasonably soft, but appears the hull was drilled and skin fitting fitted on top of the AF at that time 'maybe the source of the leak'...
Thanks,
I've since found the actual hull connection is the source of the leak.
Either the previous owner/owners did not correctly fit the connection to the hull or being plastic has become brittle or cracked.
Next question, can I fit a bronze item in the place of the plastic version ?
Thanks,
Have seen some.
Problem I have, its dribbling water from what appears from the white nut. I have my bilge auto-pump working to control the levels.
Is there a ‘O’ ring to seal or rely on the nut closing the seal around sensor.
I’m afraid to tighten the gland incase of further leakage etc...
1985 Sealine 22 C-Sport Cruiser
Anyone know of where to find or may have a Manufacturers wiring diagram for the above with a BMW engine and Z drive.
Thanks
Thanks, my posts show it's already done before delivery. The last photo is shows as it was when taken out of the water and earlier photos show the results as seen when the boat arrived at its new home.
Looking at blasting/cleaning the remains of the hull free of AntiFouling, Primer and repair...
As said earlier the boat had been left at its mooring unused due to the previous owners ill health and no longer able to use the boat. From its previous permits its been lying in a Devon estuary since 2012
This photo shows the condition of the hull on removal to be cleaned ready for delivery...
My son purchased a 1985 Sealine which had been left by the previous owner due to ill health.
The boat was cleaned and scraped free from an excessive amount of seaweed and barnacles being brought out ready for road delivery by a local yard by the broker.
Now cleaned and delivered, there are...
thanks, but no
My current mooring is that shown in the photo.
But the mooring I've been looking at, is as described by 'andyp'. This is probably why the costs are lower than other surrounding marina moorings.
thanks
