Thanks for the Rebly and suggestions Vics I will run the engine and test the Alternator meter supply from the altmtr....The battery sensing is OK as I have seperate OK guages which both show 25v more or less its just the stbd alternator gauge, showing high (35V) Regards and thanks Rob

This alternator has been taken off and checked out and found OK, and refitted for the very same fault, and proclaimed OK? but the 35volts are still being shown on the designated guage? anybody think or another reason why this might be happening faulty earth to the guage etc?? any suggestions...

As previously said check out that you are getting diesel to your injectors By disconnecting the feed pipe to the nearest one to the pump, and if so work on to the next etc. Also I would think that You should hear some diesel returning back into your tank from the bypass system if your pump...

Lavac no water in A hearty thankyou to all you guys, who replied to my post re the lack of water to a Lavac marine WC, and so quickly too. All the suggestions are very practical and one is possibly going to sort the problem I hope. Thanks again kind regards Rob

Hi I am guessing that more than one of our member, will have had the same (or similar) problem with a Lavac toilet! the model is the plastic lidded, full sized pan model, about 20 plus years old! or more, its been maintained well by the previous owner of the vessel! and at present it builds up...
