Congrats AdeOlly, coincidence as you say! I'm on a dry berth contract at Premier Gosport, with an arch on the saloon she's too high for the rack so she's on the ground which I prefer.
Very pleased with the boat and the Nanni 4.390 purrs along beautifully 22kts flat out and I'm cruising easily...
I don't have a fuel meter and my calculation was on the basis of topping up too. I hope to take her over the channel and have always loved St Vaast so that may be my first destination although I don't expect it will be this year.
Til then Solent and a bit further I think!
Hi Plum sounds like similar consumption which seems pretty good to me. Thanks for the tip on the fillers, I wiped some stuff off the threads and think they are ok but I'll recheck!
I've been sail orientated most of my boating years but have taken the plunge and now am a proud owner of a 2006 Antares 760 with a Nanni 4.390 200hp diesel.
Plymouth to Gosport Friday to Sunday with stays in Brixham and Portland and all went well. Fairly pleased with the performance and fuel...
Hmmm, I just tried to PM you but it didn't work! I've looked at my settings and I seem to be ok for sending and receiving PMs, are you enabled for PMs?

We did quite a lot of...
Good pics and the AZAB is on my list hopefully the next one in 4 years before I get too old! Interesting to follow the race, it's been pretty tough at times with quite a lot of retirements for damage including 2 dismastings and a serious hull/keel leak. Just one boat still to finish the outward...
No immediate plans and will probably do a bit on other peoples boats next year. Mind you if anyone has a good boat for the Azab 2-handed and needs someone I'd love to have a chat!
Just wondering how you see the market currently?
Raffles our lovely race-winning Elan 295 is for sale at Bursledon with WhyBoats and as enquiries have not been particularly serious so far we've dropped the price by £2500.
Thoughts welcome on best sale strategy!
A bit smaller than the Elan 333 is the Elan 295 at 9.2m (295 is not a length ref) like we have which has taken us to quite a number of JOG wins inshore and offshore plus a 4th in class at the R Soton/RORC 2 Handed championships a couple of years ago. The newer version is the Elan 31 but they...
